I fell in love with this little guy last summer when I visited "The Haven," an orphanage near Roy and Kathy Merritt's home. I'm sure he has grown a lot since then! One of the things I will be doing during my stay in Zambia is taking care of the toddlers at the orphanage while their regular caretaker is away. I will also present several teacher training workshops along with Michele Broadway, as well as work in the pharmacy during the medical mission.

Sara, I am goin to learn all this blog thing this summer. I want to keep up with your adventure. I want Kinsey to watch also. She is going to go to church camp in July and I thought she might like to share your adventure there.
Hi Sara. I guess you're leaving Tulsa tomorrow, right? Don't forget to set up that sponsorship with your folks ASAP. And for the rest of you guys from Foster, for only $50 a month a child (who actually wants to go) can go to school. You'd spend that for one meal at Ted's.
I'd also like to have the address and a contact name for the church in Texas that helps your parent's mission.
I can't wait to see the video/pics when you return. Hug the babies for me.
What an adorable little boy! You'll have to take more pictures this year and then compare them side by side. I really admire what you're doing and I know you will be a blessing during your time there! Be safe! Love, Lesley
